 The new tube was built according to NATM principles, the breakthrough of the top heading took place within less than one year of excavation. Additional construction phases included the installation of a waterproofing, inner lining with intermediate ceiling and concrete pavement.
 The restoration and adaptation of the existing tube included the construction of 4 additional parking niches, the connection of the cross passages and the replacement of the existing asphalt road. In addition, the drainage system was reconstructed, the tunnel coating was renewed and all security and operation systems updated.
